Inspiration Board: High Fashion Meets Ethereal

One of my beautiful brides, Greia, recently sent me this board as her inspiration for her wedding and I fell in love! I love how ethereal, high fashion and glamorous this makes me feel.  If I was getting married in a big ballroom, this is exactly the  direction I would go.

Vintage Cake Toppers & Incorporating Family History

You know how I love the idea of multiple wedding cakes but add multiple vintage cake toppers and you have one amazing setup!

How lovely would it be to incorporate your families history by gathering everyone’s cake toppers and displaying it proudly on the beautiful cakes.

We haven’t decided if we will be having a wedding cake yet but I do know we will be displaying the cake topper that my mom, aunt and grandmother all used on their wedding cake.  It is incredibly beautiful!

Anyone else incorporating a vintage flair and a bit of family history?

Punky Pink & Vintage Nickel

In honor of Ger coming home from Ireland I choose to feature Saba, a Dublin Thai & Vietnamese Eatery.

I was drawn to the punky pink and vintage nickel look of this chic Thai Restaurant.  What a great color palette for a wedding!

I heard about Art-O-Mat from Christina Friedrichsen of Intimate Weddings.  She had the brilliant idea of turning this art vending machine into a favor vending machine!

How cool would that be? Imagine having one of these vintage machines at your wedding (perhaps by your photo booth) for your guests to take home an awesome favor.

As you know, weddings have a lot to do with presentation.  We all want to “wow” our guests and what a better way to do that!
